Description

I finally got a full color painting by Nick, and this one is huge, measuring 12.5"x23" and is one of his homage covers to classic rock albums. This one is a homage to U2's Joshua Tree album. Simply a stunning piece that I am so glad to have picked up.

Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite movies, and the new comics from IDW have been enjoyable. For all the issues so far, they have done homage covers with the Ghostbusters copying a famous album cover of some of the greatest rock bands of our age. Others included homages of albums by the Beatles, Kiss, AC/DC, and more. New ones are coming out all the time. This is the cover to December 2011's issue, #4. All of Nick's first few covers were paintings, and I believe this was his final painting, as he is doing them all in ink now and coloring them in Photoshop. But either way, this piece is going on the wall!

Despite being a rock album homage, this piece has the chops to also be a strong cover of a GB series. Nice pick up!
