This ballsy attack made by the Rulk... while plausible based on the fact the Red Hulk is not only made with (and able to absorb) gamma energy but cosmic energy as well... was an event that sent shockwaves among the comic reading community. Many loved the outrageousness of it. Some were livid that the Red Hulk was capable of such a feat. Either way, the impact was big.
