Description

Wonderful Splash Page from comics legend Mike Royer. Highly detailed and very large - twice up! Measures 20" x 29". Royer's artwork is highly sought after and this rarity is no exception. This piece was done as a sample for a proposed JACK KIRBY publication to be called SUPER WORLD. The backers actually backed out and the project died during birth. It would have included Jack's GALAXY GREEN, a DITKO strip and Royer's HEROES as well as other possible features. The story "Annikki" was published in High Adventure #1 in 1973 by Kitchen Sink written and drawn superbly by Mike Royer.
