Description

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, Classics Illustrated No. 13 (Gilberton, 1953). This is the updated version by Lou Cameron. The first edition had line-drawing cover and interior artwork by Arnold Hicks, one of the early Gilberton stalwarts. The previous owner of this story had not taken very well care of the artwork and had made very primitive attempts at restoration. The splash is going to need professional care.

Provenance: Bought from original owner in 2010. Cover and production art included.
