Description

At a signing party at October Country in New Paltz, NY, I met Bob Wiacek and picked up his blue line ink of Page 17 of issue 8 of the Legion of Super-Heroes from 2012. I liked the image and I was tickled when he pointed out that Phantom Girl was a little over weight in the original pencils and that he slimmed her down a tad. A good image well inked. I've never posted it for one reason or another.

Well, I was at the 2012 Boston Comic Con a month or so later and was going through a bunch of Legion art for sale at Anthony Snyder's booth when I found - yep, you guessed it - the original pencils by Daniel HDR (Horn da Rosa) from Brazil.

The pencil scan isn't really good and leaves out some of the toning that HDR did, but ...

I think it's great to have the two pieces together. Enjoy

Always good to make the family complete. Someday I will make my Avengers DPS complete too bu acquiring the pencils.

It's great that you were able to acquire both the pencils and the inks. Plus, I love having them side-by-side, so we can more clearly see what each of the artists contributed to the final artwork.
