Description

I’ve been a fan of Chris Sprouse from when I first noticed his work on “Legionnaires”. About once a year, he takes a list of 10 commissions (which fills up almost instantly). I’d not had the funds until last year and asked for Superman and Krypto. But a few months later, in a show here in Toronto, Chris showed me the prelim for the piece but also drew a very cool Superboy and Robin piece for me (it’s the one where they bump fists). That prompted me to ask him to substitute Conner for Clark. Needless to say, I was extremely happy with how this came out. Now I’ll be waiting for when the list opens so that I’ll get right back in!

Superboy and Krypto really do look like they're defying gravity. Everything is beautifully designed and meticulously executed. It's a brilliant piece.
