Description

Back in Feb 1991 Rick Griffin and I opened a gallery in The Cannery in San Francisco's world famous Fisherman's Wharf. This is a pen & ink & pencil preliminary for one of the intricate logo designs he worked on. My friend was knocked off his motorcycle Aug 15 1991 and passed on a few days later.
