Description
In the Bicentennial Battles special released back in 1976, Jack Kirby offered up an imaginary design for what Cap might have looked like if he'd lived during the American Revolution. Years later, Roger Stern brought the character into actual Marvel continuity as an ancestor of Steve Rogers. I asked Steve Walker, artist of the Sons of Liberty graphic novel which was set in the Colonial Era,to draw Cap's predecessor, since he did such a good job rendering the period. Steve did a really nice job on this, putting a lot of detail into a quick sketch.
