Description

Snake Eyes makes his second kill in the Marvel Universe with Daredevil. As Lee put it, Daredevil really isn't dead but rather waiting for the right moment to get up and join forces with Snake Eyes in classic Marvel style. This one was done as a pick up commisson at HeroesCon 2012. Lee along with Ben Templesmith were easily the most entertaining artists at this show. I don't know if I have ever had more fun talking to an artist. It was like art and a show. We got to see a couple of magic tricks and Lee even told my buddy the origin of his name and also what day of the week he was born on. Very cool indeed. As you may have recognized this was an homage to Lee's own cover from Daredevil 293. That was one of my favorite covers growing up and that makes this piece one of my favorites in this gallery. I added the original Daredevil cover below for comparison. THANKS Lee! I'll have an improved pic soon as my scanner couldn't handle the size of this piece.
