The Spider vs The Snake (Reg BUNN)

The Spider was a British comic book character who first appeared in the famous british weekly magazine LION between 26 June 1965 and 26 April 1969.
He was created by writer Ted Cowan and veteran artist Reg Bunn. Jerry Siegel (Superman co-creator ) took over the writing of the character with his third adventure.

The Spider began his career as a supervillain with the aim to become King of Crooks, before turning into a superhero. For a brief time, he even leaded his own "Justice League" (the "Society of Heroes") until all team members (except The Spider) died fighting the Sinister Seven.

The Spider faced many foes with evocative name: Mirror Man, Doctor Mysterioso, The Android Emperor, The Exterminator, The Crime Genie, Spider-Boy, The Death-Master, the Ant, the Red Baron, The Fly, The Molecule Man, The Chessman, Mr. Stonehart.
