If indeed this was your first John Byrne book, then what a treat it must have been. Byrne and Bob Layton didn't do too many books together, just this and an issue of Iron Man (as well as the scattered covers, one of them Uncanny X-Men) come to mind, but based on this example, perhaps they should have worked together a little more often. Layton's inks characterize, but do not overpower Byrne's pencils leaving so much of that Byrne goodness to come through. Great great page from a fantastic issue. Congratulations Eelco!

I remember the first time I read this book. Even before I started collecting original art. It was one of my favorite books back then, and after I became an art collector, it was still one of my favorite books. I just could not imagine ever owning a page from it. Especially a page with the Sentinel on it. This is a great page! Bobby and Warrne in costume with a great shot of the Sentinel. Wow! Byrne and Layton at their best.

This is an amazing page from one of my favorite Hulk stories. Angel & Iceman NEVER looked better
