Description

Carla Speed McNeil is the creator of the "aboriginal science fiction" series Finder which is published by Lightspeed Press (http://www.lightspeedpress.com), with two mammoth collections released by Dark Horse. I've really enjoyed McNeil's work in the past, and I thought she would do a really nice Beautiful Dreamer. I finally had the opportunity to ask McNeil when she appeared at this year's Brooklyn Book Festival. She was kind enough to add this lovely piece to my sketchbook.
