More like, Stop Here, for Grail! Leaping fireballs, this is a superb splash. Great to see Trimpe's inking over the King in a bi-plane battle scene. Big congrats, Lee!

The older I get and the more I see art from Cap's Bicentennial Battles, the more I believe that it was one of the great gifts to America and the world. This is further evidence.

Absolutely fantastic.  Quite possibly THE most "unexpected" Kirby Cap splash I've ever seen (Cap  out of his element behind the throttle of a biplane, with bullets whizzing past - brilliant).  I love the skewed angle of the plane complemented by the PERFECT placement and size of the page's lettering.  A perfect comic page, make no mistake. filled to the brim and then overflowing with the energy, flair, and unmistakable style of The King.  Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL piece, Lee!  Undoubtedly, America hit 200, looked around, saw this, and realized it had all been worth it.  Bicentennial-sized congrats!
