Description

Keith was the artist on the FF when I was a kid (picking up issues at random and just looking at the pretty pictures) and JB was the artist on what is probably still my favorite FF story - Galactus vs. the Sphinx. Asking for Keith's take on that final battle seemed like a wonderful bit of nostalgic fun. I didn't want the Sphinx to be winning but to at least be giving Galactus what-for. I think Kieth did a fantastic job. Great layout, love the touch of the Kirby krackle in Galactus's helmet and detail of Galactu's fingers. Super fab cool!

Updated - I'd stumbled across Javi over on deviantArt coloring pieces at random, just for fun, and was impressed with what he was coming up. I asked him if he'd be willing to color a couple of mine and was blown away with the amount of stuff he came up with. In the end, Javi gave me a number of different versions of this piece. My hand's down favorite is this one. Wonderful play of the colors of the Sphinx's blast and the tones used on Galactus. A BIG thanks to Javi for some great, great work.
