Description
Thom recently had a Kickstarter project for an art book that he called Rhinos Bowling.

I pledged enough to get a copy with a sketch included.

The book arrived on Christmas Eve, nicely packed and with a Priority Mail envelop used for a little extra strength. I eagerly opened it; it's not a Christmas present so don't judge. :)

I pulled the book out and disposed of the packing material before opening the book.

Anyway, the book was signed, but there was no sketch! I thought - drat he forgot. Oh well, Thom's a good guy and he's coming to Houston in May so I can get it fixed then. No problem.

But wait! Thom is a good guy and he doesn't forget much (he won a pile of change on Who Wants to be a Millionaire based on his knowledge of trivia) so what if that envelope wasn't extra packing?

Back to the trash. Fortunately, the trash was dry and the Priority Mail envelope was inside the packing one.

I pulled it out and took a look - yes, there was something in it! The original art for the back cover of the upcoming trade paperback for What to Expect, the latest L&C series released from IDW.

As Thom explained in the note (see Additional Images), there really isn't much original art from the book. He generally works with sketches on different sheets, scans them, and integrates them into the final page on his computer. So, this is a real rarity - OA from Love and Capes. He also included a color print (see Additional Images).
