Wolverine Cel, Claws Ready! - X-men The Animated Series

Great shot of Wolverine ready to counter-attack the villain Lady Deathstrike (Yuriko Oyama) after she put scratches on his chest. Comes from Season 3 episode "Out of the Past Part 1" (19'40"). This episode is important because it marks the first time in the series that they switched the animation production from AKOM to Philippine Animation Studios Inc. and it's most noticeable during the action sequences in the Morlock tunnels. Typically AKOM used black on the characters for shading but you can see in this cel the new studios used true "cel shading" with layers of color and highlights.
