Stan Lee by Ben Templesmith (2012)

When artist Ben Templesmith opened a commission list at the end of 2012, I jumped on board without hesitation. Inspired by a piece that he had recently done of President Obama, I asked Ben to paint Stan Lee. He replied, "Likenesses are a bit tougher, I usually turn people into zombies and such. Stan isn't really a problem since he's rather... Distinctive!" A few weeks later, I was thrilled to receive a package from 78SQUID with this awesome pen and watercolor rending of Stan Lee in his full glory.
