The relaunch of this series was first announced at the 2012 Wonder Con and this piece was used to promote the series at the convention. I was very excited to see this cover on the shelves of my local shop and loved that Marvel decided to use the original pencils for the 2nd print cover! Julian added the final colors digitally using these pencils and I look forward to seeing much more from such a talented artist.

The cover features an (Astonishing) X-men team straight out of the multiverse with Captain Howlett (Wolverine), Kid Nightcrawler, and Emmeline Frost. The series is scheduled to wrap up with issue #13 in April 2013.
