Description
Wolverine # 12 page 27
by John Buscema & Bill Sienkiewicz
Marvel - September 1989

After getting shot in the head, the shoulder, and being smashed between two cars by vampires, Patch takes out those pesky goons via a head-on trolley collision -- "SHRABOOOM!"

This page consists of great panel work from Buscema and Sienkiewicz to wrap up a multi-page chase sequence featuring Patch and Archie Corrigan in a stolen police cruiser in San Francisco. Also featured on this page is Burt Corrigan (glasses bottom left) and next to him, a short-haired Jessica Drew. There are some very lite notes in pencil on the top of the page, "...Wolv Pulls Back+...Away". Beautiful work from two classic greats plus hand lettering by Ken Bruzenak drawn directly on the page (not pasted on). And of course some great humor from Peter David.

Action packed late '80s goodness right up your alley, George!  The early issues particularly of Logan's first ongoing series are remembered fondly by many, in large part due to the art of these 2 masters!  Congrats, man!

This is a great page, George!  Makes me nostalgic for those early Wolverine issues featuring his Patch persona.
