Description
Tug Transom ran from 1954 to around 1968 in the UK newspaper the Daily Sketch. The eponymous hero was the captain of the freighter Dulcie May and its crew. Scripts were by Peter (Modesty Blaise) O'Donnell who once said that he loved the freedom that Tug Transom gave him: each story would start along the lines of "The Dulcie May anchored in PICK A PORT".
