I think I picked it mostly because of availability. I wanted something representative of the book. Of course, a page where they were playing instruments might have been more representative. But I also like that it is a chapter header, so we get to see a little of David's display lettering. I like this project because it references (indirectly, mainly by existing) the long history of people rediscovering America's musical roots--which is a model for people rediscovering old comic strips.
