Description¿Que se puede decir de esta portada? Reproducida hasta la saciedad en multitud de ediciones por Bruguera. Muy pocas portadas tan acertadas como esta pueden presumir de condensar de una manera tan bella y precisa toda una época de tebeos en España. Hace varios años que la tengo e indudablemente es una de mis portadas favoritas.Portada icónica del Jabato, una maravilla de composición que a mas de uno uno de traerá recuerdos imborrables. Comparte con la tambien maravillosa portada del Trueno Color nº 9 "La reina de los piratas" que tengo igualmente el honor de poseer la amenaza del animal salvaje atacando desde su hábitat natural al héroe que girando la cabeza intenta defenderse aun sabiéndese en inferioridad de condiciones. Una delicia. Al contemplarla sobran las palabras. La figura de Antonio Bernal como uno de los mas grandes ilustradores (si no el que más) de tebeos de este pais se va agigantando con el paso del tiempo. Portadas tan acertadas como esta así lo atestiguan. Cuatro décadas despues de ser pintada aquí sigue y espero que se quede por muchísimos años más. Social/Sharing |
