Havok and Polaris kicking ass by Sunny Lee

In January 2013 I started having some weird symptoms which turned out to be caused by a cyst that fused onto a disc in my thoracic spinal area. This cyst caused my spinal area below it to shift forward, cutting off my ability to feel or use my left leg as well as other issues. I was in the hospital for a month, including surgery and rehab. It was rough. I was going to be off work for a long time, with limited income. On top of this, my wife was pregnant with our 2nd child, due 3/11/13. Over on www.statueforum.com there is an original art/commission section that I try to be pretty active in. While in the hospital I made a post talking about my situation, and asked people to post as much new art as they could, since I wouldn't have the funds to buy anything new for awhile. This way I could enjoy seeing some new art. Artist and all around nice guy Sunny Lee said he was working in something that he thought would lift my spirits. Last year I commissioned a Havok and Polaris piece from him. Knowing that I loved these 2 characters, Sunny drew this piece and sent it to me as a gift. I couldn't believe it. Sunny is a class act. A truly nice guy, and ss you can see, a hell of a great artist.
