When I asked Mike to do this commission all I asked for was a large oil painting depicting the ritual of the great apes called the "dum dum". This is what he created! It is 18"X24" unframed and at night when the picture light is on it creats the effect of the full moon actually shining. This is one of the crowns of my collection. It is done on masonite and there is no way to capture a true image with my camera.
