KIRBY J.J.
Another vastly "underrated" artist! One of my favorite too. I was completly in love with his work when he was drawing Backlash from Wildstorm. His work is full of manga, graphitti art and hip hop references. Much in the same vein as McGuinness or Chriss Cross (and Joe Mad to a lesser extent) , I think he draws inspiration from video games and the Capcom crew. I think if he was more published/visible with his work, he'd be as big as McGuinness or Mad. Full of energy and crazy angles, his art is always full of bluelines under the inked art which is a joy to look at. His pencils are ultra intricate as well.Anything he has touched I've bought.Always need more. And he's quite the artist's artist from what I've been told.A true genius in my book and certainly one of comic's best kept secret :)
