SAN DIEGO 2004
Hi, gang: I had attended the con in 1997 and 1999 and was overdue to return by the time 2004 rolled around. So I planned a vacation for the whole family (wife; daughter, 14 at the time; son, 12) around the con. We started with Vegas, continued on to LA to spend time with three sets of longtime friends then headed down to sandy eggo for a week. We stayed with an old buddy of mine for a week in Carlsbad and made his place a base of operations. On our way back to Colorado, we stayed in Vegas again then wrapped up the trip at Glenwood Springs. It was a great two weeks. While in San Diego, I could manage two days to attend the con. here's an image from Friday at the con:
