Cartoonist STEVE RUDE animation
Steve Rude is the artist and co-creator of Nexus. The comic has bounced around from Capital to First to Dark Horse. Now Steve and Mike are pursuing their own versions of Nexus separately. Steve wrote and drew The Coming of Gormando as a Sunday comic format with a deluxe edition the size of an IDW Artist Edition. Steve and John Fleskes have written Steve Rude: Artist in Motion from John's Flesk Publications. The book is magnificent. Nexus: The Animated Promo was released on DVD in 2004. The Promo runs two minutes and is reminiscent of Hanna Barbera’s Space Ghost. Steve continues to do animation drawings. The unreleased Gen 13 animated film includes Steve’s design work. I have samples in the Wildstorm gallery.
