Jim Holdaway: Modesty Blaise

A superb example of another master of the newspaper strip, Jim Holdaway, as a lover of the Modesty Blaise novels, created by Peter O'Donnell, the key to the characters for me is the amazing relationship between Modesty and her trusted right hand man and soulmate, Willie Garvin. There are many great action sequences in the series but this strip really shows the bond between them in a quiet, contemplative, yet deadly moment.
