Mazzucchelli, David
Né à Providence, Rhode Island (États-Unis) en 1960, David Mazzucchelli suit les cours de la Rhode Island School of Design avant de débuter sa carrière chez Marvel, à l'âge de 23 ans, en reprenant la série Daredevil au numéro 210, en collaboration avec Denis O'Neil. Il connaît le succès avec cette série grâce à son association avec Frank Miller sur Born Again (traduit Justice aveugle en français chez Comics USA). Avec Frank Miller toujours, il réalise chez DC le non moins fameux Batman Year One (Vengeance oblige en français, toujours chez Comics USA). Après ces sommets atteints dans le comic mainstream, il prend du recul, réflechit, étudie la lithographie, le design, compose et joue de la musique. Quand il revient à la bande dessinée, c'est pour aborder la scène alternative. Il coédite le magazine Rubber Blanket dans lequel il publie ses nouvelles histoires, ainsi que dans Drawn.
