Canete, Eric
Eric Canete est un artiste complet : illustrateur, designer, concepteur de story-boards, tout lui est connu ! Il commence sa carrière sur l'excellente série Aeon Flux de Peter Chung, diffusée sur MTV, et qui a été adaptée au cinéma il y a peu, avec moins d'originalité. Depuis il a travaillé sur les séries Phantom 2040, les Maitres de l'Univers, et sur un autre projet de Peter Chung pour Universal Pictures. Il était également au générique de nombreux films fantastiques, et bien sûr dans l'univers des comics. Chez Verotik notamment, avec entre autres Satanika et Venus Domina. Chez Marvel, on le retrouve sur Mr Majestic, Cybernary 2.0, Superman, Deathlok. Avec un style inimitable que certains qualifient d'"européen" (généralement c'est bon signe), Eric Canete aborde le domaine du dessin avec un trait reconnaissable entre tous, et une sensibilité appréciable d'artiste à part entière. D'un abord très simple, Eric répond à mes questions dans cette interview aux réponses courtes, "pour ne pas ennuyer les gens qui la liront".
