I'd had in mind to start a convention sketch book for a couple of years, but never got around to it for several reasons. Finally I decided to start it at Wondercon 2010, and had a hard time coming up with a theme. Once I bought the actual book, and saw how many pages I'd have to fill, I tried to think of something that would allow me to ask for specific characters, but not have any two repeated. I finally realized that there were so many Avengers, and more being added every year, that it would be a great choice. I've decided to mostly focus on West Coast Avengers to start, seeing as that was the title I loved most as a kid.
