MOTU Original Animation

I purchased these at SDCC 2010 & 2011. They are original layers of FILMATION cells and assorted pencils of characters. There is something amazingly nostalgic about being able to smell the paint that was the animation you loved. These were clustered into bundles including a background and figures. While I do not know all of the animation "tag" meanings, I do know that some are frame numbers and one is an episode number. In some cases these match or are in sequential order, but in other cases they do not (all numbers are not shown here, as it was hard to scan everything in one frame). As a result I can only guess that some of these images, while all original FILMATION cells, are not necessarily ordered in a way that appeared in any episode. Nor were they sold in bundles that really made any sense. I think some of them are correct, but I know that the He-Man/Sorceress piece is not, as the numbers did not match in any way. Indeed when I scanned them I made some adjustments with regard to placement of figures and backgrounds, so that the scan would be framed in a way that was easier to post here. While the purist in me felt really guilty about doing this, I imagine that FILMATION in the 80's worked in a similar way! "We need a background...ummm....use this one!" :) Unfortunately, I do not have artist credit on these, so I do not know who did the original pieces.
