BRUNO PREMIANI
Bruno Premiani born in Italy in 1907, became a political cartoonist in his maturity, and was expelled from the country for his anti-fascist work. He emigrated to Argentina in 1930, and worked on an advertising agency, and at the same time he starts with this wonderful work for newspaper Crítica between 1932-1940 , called "Seen and Heard" about biographical descriptions of celebrities of all times and countries, Italy's Fascist government during this time kept track of Premiani's Critica work, and decreed he would be arrested if he returned to Italy. Through the 1940s, Premiani drew for many others Argentinian magazines until he move to USA where he lived betwee 1948 and 1952 working for DC comics as penciler-inker sometimes as “ghost drawer” for big series, until he got the responsibility of the best period of “Tomahawk”, and others golden Age comics, he sign.
