FENZO STELIO
Autore e disegnatore classe 1932, uno dei protagonisti della cosiddetta scuola veneziana, ha mosso i primi passi nel mondo del fumetto frequentando lo storico gruppo dell' "Asso di Picche" composto tra gli altri da HUGO PRATT. Nel 1950 entra nello staff de "Il Vittorioso", poi lavora per Fleetway e Thompson mentre per l'Editoriale Sepim disegna "Capitan Moko", personaggio inizialmente creato da HUGO PRATT in Argentina, per poi passare a "Kiwi" anch'esso iniziato da HUGO PRATT. Nel 1967 per conto della Editrice RG comincia ad illustrare la lunghissima serie di "Jungla", da lui ideato con la collaborazione dello sceneggiatore Paolo Trivellato. Nel 1968 per il mensile "Sgt. KIRK" porta a compimento la storia interrotta da Hugo Pratt "Capitan Cormorant", con il proseguo della sceneggiatura scritta dalla moglie Loredana D’Este. Nel 1977 a Bologna riceve assieme a Dino Battaglia e Milo Manara il premio "Nettuno del Giambologna" assegnato dalla A.N.A.F. mentre in Francia GLENAT inizia a pubblicare "Capitaine Cormorant". Dal 1971 entra a far parte dello staff dei disegnatori de "il Giornalino" dove fino al 2000 illustra tutta una lunghissima serie di personaggi fissi e seriali tra i quali tra i più celebri resta "Simba".
