Kaigai Manga Festa 2012
On the remarkable date of 11/18/2012, we had the very first annual Foreign Comic Festival at Tokyo Big sight. This is the first kind of convention we ever had, where creators and artists of Japan, Europe, and the U.S. are gathered in one exhibition hall and had booths for public to see their creations. Udon Studio set up their booth, Marvel set up their booth, and there are a lot of foreign vendors that set up booths to promote their products. I was lucky enough to set up a table for Peter Nguyen at artist alley, and helped him by being his translator to communicate with my fellow Japanese comic fans. I also helped him find some commissioners for his pre-convention commissions. Peter certianly did the best commissions for Japanese fans. None of the commissioners have CAF gallery, so I felt it is my responsibility to post up his great pieces!
