After my first dozen or two commissions (I had never given an artist any direction other than "whatever you want to do, however you want to do it") I set upon an idea I hadn't ever seen done before. We all remember when Rogue absorbed Carol Danvers, even wearing her outfit for a while. There were a few "What Ifs" where she ran around in alternate costumes, as well. So I started proposing to artists, 'What if it was another character she absorbed and became? Put her in any other outfit besides here traditional ones, doing absolutely anything, in any pose you want.' Needless to say, this kind of focused carte blanche inspired many spectacular outcomes, and sometimes bizarre, but fantastically realized combinations. Enjoy!!
