COMMISSION BYLAWS In regard to commission requests, the information is as follows: •WE WILL EMAIL YOU THAT YOUR PIECE HAS BEEN STARTED and within a day or two or more (depending on complexity) we will post it on: www.facebook.com/ragsmorales, www.ragsagainstthemachine.net, Ragsnhastags (Instagram), Official Rags Morales (comicartfans.com), And possibly @RagsMorales (twitter) •WE ONLY TAKE COMMISSIONS at [email protected] and only when we announce a new list opening at www.facebook.com/ragsmorales. There is currently no other way to get on the commission list. *NOTE YOU WILL BE LIKELY TALKING TO A REPRESENTATIVE , NOT NECESSARILY RAGS. •WE ANNOUNCE THE SIGNUP LIST typically during the day on facebook and we give notice as to when the list opens up. Usually at 9pm EST. (U.S.) the same day. This accommodates the west coast. If we open a list for Europe and beyond, we will give 24 hours notice. •COMMISSIONS ARE ON 11X17 BRISTOL BOARD, unless otherwise noted. A color border in pencil will be added and reflective of the character. For instance, Superman would have a light blue, red, or yellow border, Aquaman an orange or green, Batman black or dark blue, etc. We try to stay away from overly strong colors like red unless it's unavoidable like for Plastic Man. •THE PRICES are:  ~$275.00/headshot $300.00/bust (chest up) $375.00/half figure (waist up) $400.00 (U.S.) per full figure with background  ~Only full figures come with a background of our discretion, but if one is specifically insisted, an additional $75.00 will be added to the price. *Note that the prices are PER FIGURE and any additional drawing be it background or props that are insisted will have additional costs.  *DUE TO SOME BUYERS NOT PAYING upon completion, we’ve decided that we needed to change the policy of payment upon completion. From this point forward, we’re going to require a $100 security payment at the start of your piece. This is only when you’ve been contacted and your piece is due up as the next commission to be started. Make note that the security is part of final payment and will be deducted from the final bill, and if for any reason your order can’t be completed, you will be refunded your security payment. PAYMENT is only through Paypal (accounts: *ragsmorales at gmail dot com or ragsmo.orders at gmail dot com) currently, and full payment is due upon posting of your piece on facebook.com/ragsmorales. You will have 48 hours to pay, or make arrangements. No piece will be held beyond 5 business days and will be up for sale, should they be abandoned. **If there is a reason payment can’t be made at the time of contact prior to starting your piece, please mention it at that time.  We can either 1. Make payment arrangements 2. Bump your piece down the list or 3. Eliminate your order entirely. ***Please always send payment as FRIENDS AND FAMILY to avoid charges that would otherwise be passed onto you. -If FRIENDS AND FAMILY isn’t available where you are, please submit another $16.50 (headshot) $18 (bust) $22.50 (half figure) and $26.00 (US) to offset fees. ~If you want a cover remake, that can be pricey depending on the contents of that cover. All rules apply as far as a price per figure, headshot, background, etc., and the lettering itself constitutes a full figure, so that's another $325.00 for the cover lettering. Shipping in the U.S. is $6.50, Canada $31.00, and depending on how quickly it's sent, for Europe shipping first class ranges from $17-$55. We also now provide insurance via USPS; that would be $10.00 in the US. Contact us when shipping outside the US and we will inform you of your current postal fees.   **•RECENTLY THE PACKAGING PROCESS HAD TO BE CHANGED. Due to the USPS's inability honor insurance (and blame packaging) we now roll the artwork into a tube and ship it that way. It's less likely to be damaged although it will take some time for the piece to flatten. In a frame, it will be fine.  •ADDITIONAL NOTES: There are no characters or scenarios considered out of bounds. However due to the number of commissions already done for these popular characters-Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Superman, Batman, and Zatanna- we've reached a point of it being difficult to give a fresh take. When ordering those characters, please suggest a secondary one. Rags will do his best for you, but if it's difficult he may have a better idea for the secondary character.
