The Kirby Chair
Once, Mister John Butler, sensing malaise in my heart, asked me what the twenty or so best individual Kirby panels -- imo -- were. He wouldn't tell me why. It was fun to think about, and so I went through all my resources and found twenty or so panels that make Kirby great. A few months later, John showed up at my door with this. Not only is the design perfect, but the chair itself is perfect -- mid century and exactly what my room needed. John, you are an amazing friend, craftsman and artist, and your insanity is exceeded only by your obsessiveness.
