I love animation and cartoons and am in a great place for a fan. Northern California is the home of the Cartoon Art Museum and the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco and the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. I have been a member of the CAM since 1993. I've met Charles Schulz, Marc Davis, Ward Kimball, and other great cartoonists at their programs. I joined ASIFA-SF, the local chapter of the international animated film society under Karl Cohen, and enjoyed their programs including talks by Robin Allan, Mike Barrier, and Tom Sito. My membership gets me into Ron Diamond's Animation Show of Shows every Fall and the Oscar Showcase every February. I saw and heard directors Torill Kove and John Canemaker in person and watched them win Oscars on TV one week later. Torrance in Southern California is home to my brother's Stuart Ng Books. He started exhibiting at the inaugural CTN-X Animation Expo in 2010. Stuart is the sponsor of the Bancroft Brothers Animation Podcast.
