zzz Once Was...Red Rain
Within this gallery are the pages of Red Rain that I was able to accumulate, not long after Malcolm Jones' death. All came thru AM's site and there were a few escapes that were sold before I got there (page 1&2, for example). Except for the few escapes, what you see here was the inker's share of the book. The final page of the book, I'm told, went to the writer. Sadly, a few years ago, my circumstances changed for the near term and they required I raise funds...I had to sell the collection....But a lot of people now have a page they would not otherwise have had...so it all worked out for the best! One of the most distinctive attributes of the pages, is that every one of them had something drawn in red. In some cases it was a bright red outline of a panel, produced with something similar to a red flair pen. In other cases, the red had the tone of dried blood, as with the blood dripping from the corpse's arm on page 3 or the blood being drunk by Dracula on page 71.
