Jordi David Redo

Jordi David Redo es un dibujante catalán que comenzó trabajando como aprendiz en una agencia de publicidad, donde conoció a Domingo Correa ("Mingo"), colaborador habitual de Bruguera con su personaje "Don Tiburcio". Con él aprendió a entintar y con el tiempo comenzará a trabajar para le editorial del gato negro donde le pusieron a prueba con dos páginas de pasatiempos. Vázquez le eligió como entintador (siendo dos páginas de Mortadelo, publicadas en el Pulgarcito 2075, las primeras que realizaría para la editorial). Posteriormente crearía las series "Pillo y Bollo" (en las revistas "Sacarino" y "Super Sacarino") y "Rufo" (en la revista "Mortadelo"). Tras las marcha de Vázquez, Sanchís organizó un equipo de dibujantes que comenzaría a producir "Mortadelos" en masa. En esta época el dibujante crearía numerosas aventuras con guiones ajenos entre las que destaca "La historia del dinero" (en este caso con guión de Jesús de Cos) que Bruguera realizó en 1980 por encargo para Bankunión. A principios de los años 80 (y antes del cierre de Bruguera) Sanchis montó también otro estudio donde se trabajó para "Fix y Foxy" y "Disney" de Dinamarca (Gutenberghus/Egmont). Jordi David colaboraría en dicho estudio durante treinta años dibujando numerosas historias de personajes Disney, principalmente de "Mickey", "Goofy", "Donald", "La abuela pato", "Lobito", "El pequeño Hiawatha", "Hermano Conejo", "Golfillo" y "Chip y Chop". Posteriormente se publicarían algunos de estos trabajos (como las aventuras de"El pequeño Hiawatha") en la revista alemana "Micky Maus". Jordi David Redo is a Catalan draftsman who started by being employed as apprentice at an agency of advertising, where it knew Domingo Correa ("Mingo"), habitual collaborator of Bruguera with his personage "Don Tiburcio". With him it learned to ink and with the time it will begin to work for publishing him of the black cat where they tested him with two pages of puzzles. Vázquez chose him like entintador (being two Mortadelo's pages, published in the Pulgarcito 2075, the first ones that it would realize for the publishing house). Later it would create the series " I plunder and Bun " (in the magazines "Sacarino" and " Super Sacarino ") and "Rufo" (in the magazine "Mortadelo"). After the marcha of Vázquez, Sanchís it organized an equipment of draftsmen that it would begin to produce "Mortadelos" in mass. In this epoch the draftsman would create numerous adventures with foreign scripts between which it emphasizes " The history of the money " (in this case with Jesus de Cos's script) that Bruguera realized in 1980 for order for Bankunión. At the beginning of the 80s (and before Bruguera's closing) Sanchis mounted also another study where one worked for " Fix and Foxy " y "Disney" of Denmark (Gutenberghus/Egmont). Jordi David would collaborate in the above mentioned study for thirty years drawing numerous histories of prominent figures Disney, principally of "Mickey", "Goofy", "Donald", " The grandmother duck ", "Lobito", " The small Hiawatha ", " I Relate Rabbit ", "Urchin" y " Chip and Chop ". Later would be published some of these works (as the adventures of " The small Hiawatha ") in the German magazine "Micky Maus".
