Tony began his career as a freelance illustrator working on TSR's PLANESCAPE campaign. He then turned to Magic cards, and then got a hankering to write and illustrate children's books. One Caldecott Honor and several NY Times bestsellers later, Tony doesn't do much straight fantasy illustration any more . . . .
