Concepts for "The Tourist" by Clair Noto
I came very close to working with HR GIGER (and Roger Dean, a fact that seems to have gotten lost in the sands of time). Unfortunately my involvement in the project was under the control of an belligerent, manipulating artist rep who (bamboozled a young aspiring artist into signing a contract with him whereby he) threatened to sue Universal because they refused to give him a percentage of the licensing rights, on a film that hadn't even been green-lighted for production yet. This quickly ended my involvement with the film, and tied me up with law suits, counter-suits and attorney fees out the wazu. However, in the time that I was involved, I met with the Director; Brian Gibson, and the Producer Renee Missel, and produced a lot of drawings for them. I have quite a few copies of them that I can post here. Stay tuned . . .
