Italian artists - Micheluzzi Attilio
Attilio Micheluzzi, conosciuto anche con lo pseudonimo di Igor Arzbajeff (Umago, 11 agosto 1930 – Napoli, 20 settembre 1990), iniziò la sua carriera fumettistica nel 1972, all'età di 42 anni. Nonostante il tardo esordio, realizzò una vastissima produzione di fumetti e personaggi, riservando sempre la massima cura ed attenzione alla costruzione delle tavole mostrando subito una forte predilezione per le storie d'avventura solitamente caratterizzate da un'ambientazione d'epoca. Nell'arco di vent'anni darà vita a numerosi personaggi, quali Johnny Focus, Petra Chérie, Molly Manderling, Capitan Erik, Air Mail, Marcel Labrume, Rosso Stenton e Roy Mann. Realizzerà due episodi della collana Un uomo un'avventura: "L'uomo del Tanganyka" (1978) e "L'uomo del Khyber" (1980). Per la rivista il Giornalino, oltre a collaborare come illustratore, realizzerà diverse riduzioni a fumetti di opere letterarie come "Il principe e il povero" di Mark Twain. Sempre per la stessa rivista disegnerà, nel 1983, le biografie di Martin Luther King e Gandhi mentre, per il Messaggero dei ragazzi, disegnerà la biografia di Anna Frank e quelle di Padre Cristoforo, l'innominato e Don Rodrigo, personaggi tratti da "I promessi sposi" di Alessandro Manzoni. Per Corto Maltese realizzerà Bab-el-Mandeb (1986), Siberia (1988) e la storia dell'aviatore francese Jean Mermoz (1986). Nel 1988, per la rivista Comic Art, pubblicherà "Titanic". La sua ultima fatica sarà Afghanistan, opera mai portata a termine a causa della sua prematura dipartita.
