Italian artists - Tacconi Ferdinando
Ferdinando Tacconi (Milano, 27 dicembre 1922 – 11 maggio 2006), ha operato in campo artistico sin dalla fine degli anni '40. Negli anni realizzerà storie belliche anche per editori inglesi quali Fleetway Publication, Look and Learn e Junior Express. Nei primi anni '70 creerà graficamente "Gli Aristocratici" su testi di Alfredo Castelli. Nel 1977 e nel 1980, su testi di Gino D'Antonio, realizzerà due volumi della collana Un uomo un'avventura per le edizioni CEPIM: "L'uomo del deserto" e "L'uomo di Rangoon". Sempre su testi di Gino D'Antonio, disegnerà "Mac lo straniero" per la rivista Orient Express e, per Il Giornalino, una serie di 16 episodi sulla storia della seconda guerra mondiale. Per Sergio Bonelli Editore si cimenterà su storie nelle prestigiose serie Dylan Dog e Nick Raider. Nel 1994, sempre per Il Giornalino delle Edizioni Paoline, disegnerà "Il sogno di Icaro", vero capolavoro sulla sua grande passione: l'aereonautica. L'anno successivo, realizzerà la riduzione a fumetti del film "La grande guerra" di Mario Monicelli, con attori Alberto Sordi e Vittorio Gassmann.
