John Held, Jr. (1889-1958) was, simply put, the illustrator of the Jazz Age. Held, along with Ralph Barton, defined that 1920s Flapper era with their fine line delineations of the period. Held was also a hell of a watercolorist, and became known for his cityscapes of New York City.
