Batwoman Begins!
Beginning with J.G. Jones' stunning 52 #11 cover, the character design of Batwoman has inspired some of finest art in comics. Although Greg Rucka's Elegy remains one of the best written stories in the DC library, I more often associate Kate Kane with fantastic (intending both meanings of the word) cover art. Most surprising is that Ant Lucia's reinvention of Batwoman as a World War II pin up is just as visually striking as her appearance in DC continuity books. This gallery room continues to grow because I love what artists achieve with this character. (Note: Batwoman makes an appearance or two in my other gallery rooms.)
