Edward McLachlan
Born in Leicester, Ed McLachlan went on to lecture in graphics at Leicester Polytechnic where he began to contribute drawings regularly to the Sunday Mirror, Punch and Private Eye. His cartoons still appear in the Spectator, Punch, The Times, Sunday Telegraph and of course Private Eye. He has also designed and written over 300 commercial advertising films and the TV series 'Simon and the Land of Chalk Drawings' and 'Bangers and Mash'.
