Harbinger #1 (1992)

Valiant Comics...when I got back into selling comics in 1991..Valiant was just getting ready to explode...Everything this company had out was what everybody wanted. We would nearly sell out of every comic they made in 1991/92,at every show we did. As fast as the company rose,their wings got burned and down they went. Speculators killed the industry back in those days,but people still talked about those early Valiant books in high regard. None more than Harbinger. Still to this day,this series is special to collectors that remember the days before the boom/bust,and to readers that took time to see what this book was about. Artist David Lapham opened up his vault in 2008 and pieced out this classic issue and I was lucky enough to pick up almost half of them. I started to get out of the original art game soon after and just put these away,always meaning to get them posted up on here but never got around to it. I'm not sure how many guys on here picked up some of the other pages from this classic issue,I've seen a few. I've always wondered if the cover ever made it to market. As I've been scanning these,it's been cool remembering those days 25 years ago when this book was on everybody's want list! Good Times!!
