Golden Age and newspaper strip artist, Irwin Hasen was a familiar face to all New York convention goers and newspaper readers. I visited Irwin Hasen in the 1970s when he had a studio on 57th Street. He was a sweet guy and very patient, as anyone who met him can tell you.
